Summit Protrusion Left View:Haliburton Forest Ontario
Finally at the summit we come to a huge cliff rising out of the centre of this massive hill. It looks as if it simply popped up or had its sides chipped away by the ice. The picture is all about the impressive rock. The cliff and the 80’ to 100’ Maple Trees are framed by a single birch which joins under the rock that seems to divide them. The textured pattern of the leaves of the birch, in the foreground helps to draw attention upward to the massive cliff overlooking all.
