The Falls Minden: White Water Ontario

Named “White Horse Falls” after a logging horse that was drowned here, the falls had to have a rock blasted out for the safety of the kayakers. The water here is swift but the drop is gradual. Even so kayakers pop out into the slower water below. I painted this picture with more greys to give a sense of angst.
