Left Gulley Wild Pacific Trail

Here the trail loops around a quiet, deep gorge where logs rest below, far above the swooshing ocean waters. The calm mists that cover the rocky island in the middle ground, only add to the solemnity of the view. In contrast to the peace of the scene, we are stirred by the thought of a violent ocean carving out the land to make this deep cut and spewing logs from its belly up onto rocky ledges below.
