View from the Foot Bridge: Minden White Water, Ontario

The lovely little bridge which has been the location of many wedding photos, brings us to this peaceful sheltered pond which is the image for this picture. Here is where the kayakers who avoided the falls, can reinter the water. I chose a vantage point along the bank where my painting could show the foreground, middle-ground and background of all the interesting features of the river like supporting actors surrounding the pond. Behind the fast flowing waters from the waterfall rushes by on ones side and bursts over the rocks below the pond as it moves on.
