Description
The bloom on the lilies at my front door were at their peak on this rainy Sunday morning. I was struck not only by their magnificent colour which I tried to capture in my painting. More importantly to the work was the way the rain dropped on and dripped from the blooming flowers. This is not so much a story of beautiful flowers but one about rain drops in motion. The viewer has to really look to enjoy the result.
