Acrylic Painting, "Spirit Bear," is a beautiful white bear of the Great Bear Rainforest, a genetic quirk in the region's Black Bear biological makeup. Only 100 – 300 white bears exist, and only on Princess Royal and Gribbell Islands, with occasional bears found on the mainland. Here, the mother bear lovingly nuzzles one of her cubs as the other symbolically watches over from above.
